Decades ago, human cloning existed either on the pages of science fiction literature or in the most ambitious scientific predictions. Today, it appears that only concerns of ethics separate scientific and technological progress from creating one human utilizing the genetic material of someone else. While supporters of human cloning argue that this biotechnology will allow creating stronger, healthy, and smarter people, the opponents declare that cloning is nothing but ‘playing God’ with numerous adverse consequences.
Cloning itself just isn't a new technology.
